Fundación Ceiba was established in 2022 by Dr. Fernando Colón Osorio, a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. The foundation supports economically disadvantaged students in Puerto Rico who demonstrate a deep love of learning, a desire to succeed and a commitment to give back to their communities. The foundation provides such students with five-year scholarships that cover everything from tuition to living expenses so that these students can pursue degrees in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Entrepreneurship and other related fields. In addition, the foundation also provides students with mentoring, service opportunities and career guidance.
