We believe in the strength of the Puerto Rican people, and in their inherent dignity. We also believe in Puerto Ricans’ entrepreneurial spirit, and their desire to work hard, succeed and provide for their families. Nevertheless, that desire is often stymied. Too many people on our island are held back by a lack of access to economic resources and educational opportunities.

We believe that education is the gateway to success. By supporting students with great financial need and a desire to give back to their communities, the Fundación Ceiba aims to create a generation of scholars, engineers and entrepreneurs who will not only achieve their dreams, but also lift up their island. To this end, Fundación Ceiba grants scholarships that cover tuition and living expenses at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, as well as mentoring, service opportunities and career guidance.
